Change begins with us
And what do you want to change?
Camilo José Cela University was founded in the year 2000 as part of SEK Education Group and its mission is to serve society by educating professionals of the future and preparing them for new challenges. UCJC pursues innovation and constant evolution to meet the needs of business and society and the highest levels of rigour and excellence. Its strategic axes are entrepreneurship, technology and digitization, social commitment and well-being.
At Camilo José Cela University we want to do things differently. The world is continually evolving and in the face of these new challenges we offer a flexible and transversal education, fostering an entrepreneurial and innovative spirit, and helping our students acquire technological skills, essential for their personal and professional future.
Our university is looking for students who want to learn, improve and change the world. Which is why we were the first educational entity recognised with the BCorp seal in Europe. Our goal is for our students to be the best for the world.
At UCJC we have our own higher education model: the ETLM or Extended Teaching – Learning Model. This student-centred model extends their learning experiences, from the classrooms of our iconic campuses in Madrid, to other complementary environments such as virtual simulators and artificial intelligence settings, business, stays at prestigious international centres and participation in outstanding events.
We offer you holistic and outstanding education, both in knowledge and hard skills, with accredited researchers, as well as in soft skills, with experts in personal and professional development, with the aim of preparing you to be capable of innovating, entrepreneuring and transforming.

UCJC Almagro Building
Our Campus on Calle Almagro in Madrid, headquarters of the UCJC Centre for Professional Studies, serves as a link between the university and professional world. Housed in a historic building from 1920 it is a stone’s throw away from Madrid’s economic, business and cultural centre. It thus becomes a hub and active catalyst for intellectual and business activity at the University and the city, where lecturers, researchers and professionals share a common goal: academic excellence.
